Haven’t seen the Murdersofa in a while. Have some exhaust.

Have you ever contemplated an L67 or L32 swap? I’m not aware of your current mods.

Just a tuned NA 3800 S2 right now. The car is technically my dad’s with 230,000 miles on it and original drivetrain. I’d love to do an L67 swap someday but that’s not really in the cards right now. Coupled with the handling mods I’ve done (front/rear sway bars, rear shocks) it could be a very decent all-around car with the extra 60hp.

The L67 is a fun motor and the 3800 is one of the best designs ever. Luckily L67s should be plentiful for a long time.

My boss is going for the 3800 HP record with a twincharged L67. Water/meth injection twin-intercooled with a GT500s supercharger and some enormous turbo as well. Should be fun. He was going to do it with a stock bottom end but his intercooler leaked and ruined his everything so he’s building a new engine with forged internals. Should be fun.

Wheels from an early 2000s STS?

Wow, that sounds awesome. Is it going in something or is it just a dyno only build? I’ve only ever experienced a stock L67 in a Grand Prix GTP, which was pretty fun.
